Preparing a modern-day wuxia film about a blind swordsman, a filmmaker discovers blind jiujitsu practitioners in Brickfields and begins to suspect that the secret martial society she invented may be real.

Synopsis / 故事梗概

Tan Chui Mui prepares a wuxia film with Pete Teo playing a blind swordsman. Criticised for imitating Zatoichi rather than inhabiting the role, Pete retreats to his farm to experience life blindfolded—and injures himself. The producer sends him to the Malaysian Association for the Blind to learn daily living skills. There, the filmmakers discover blind martial artists. As they explore Brickfields, they encounter other elderly practitioners with mysterious pasts, and Mui begins to wonder whether the hidden martial world she imagined might actually exist.

导演陈翠梅在吉隆坡筹拍武侠片，饰演盲剑客的张子夫过度模仿座头市，被导演批评不够真实。剧组送张子夫到十五碑盲人中心学习盲人的生活日常，却意外发现盲人柔术班。导师Sam的身手令众人惊讶，让导演觉得他是盲侠客最佳人选，生活中他却爱听脸书无聊贴文。在学习盲人生活和近距离的接触十五碑的街坊，导演开始怀疑她虚构的江湖真实存在。
